Let's be honest, most people want to see the world and try the local food in each country. However, some of us are also trying to meet fitness goals of losing fat at the same time. This is usually very difficult for people, as it's difficult to know if you're in a calorie deficit or surplus every day.

Luckily, we live in a world with amazing technology! Apps can help with this problem, and we have found two that are extremely easy to use. First, MyFitnessPal is the most popular macro tracking app in the US. It has a free version that allows tracking of calories, activity level, and other metrics. HOWEVER, you don't get the macronutrient breakdown which is what we are looking for, especially to hit protein goals.

Thus, I chose Nutrionix. This FREE, easy-to-use app allows you to see your daily macronutrient breakdown. I also LOVE the ability to scan a barcode and see the macros inputted for me. The app has a very large database of foods and products to make it easy to track macros.

It can feel tedious inputting everything you eat and drink but it's absolutely necessary in order to see the macro nutrient total for each day.
